Booking a photography session is easy. Simply reach out to us through the website directly, email, or phone, and let me know the type of session you're interested in. I guide you through the process, discuss your requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.

To make a booking through my website:

Select a shoot, the date and time from the calendar then click the book button. This will take you to the payment window. Fill out all the details, answer all the questions, and secure your photoshoot.

A photoshoot cannot be reserved without a deposit. All booking fees/deposits are non-refundable. If you would like to book now and pay later please get in touch.

Once the booking confirmation has been received depending on when you have booked your photoshoot you'll receive an email a few weeks before your date including the location details, styling guidelines, and your final invoice. Your final invoice needs to be paid at least 24 hours before the photoshoot is scheduled to go ahead.

The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project. Portrait sessions typically range from 1 to 2 hours, while events and weddings can span several hours. I strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.

Try to eat well before your session so you have plenty of energy for the duration of the shoot. If you would like to make any outfit changes please let me know, bear in mind that there are no facilities if you are having an outdoor shoot. If you are wanting to put your newborn in different outfits please try to keep it to a minimal amount as a happy and content baby is much more important than an unsettled baby in lots of different outfits.

Short answer: whatever you want! These are your photos. I do typically suggest more neutral clothing but colors can be fun too when done correctly! We can always discuss this together and come up with something that you are comfortable with. I am currently in the process of putting together a client wardrobe for you to choose from for your shoot.

Maternity: 26-36 weeks is the ideal window for having your maternity photographs. Booking at your 12 week scan gives you something to look forward to and also avoids you missing out on a slot!

Newborn: Anytime within the first 1o weeks is counted as newborn. An ideal time for tiny newborn photographs is around the 2 week mark. I have written a blog post about this here!

Family: Now! Literally, there is no better time to capture your loved ones than right away. Capture them, when your tiny people are still tiny.

My photoshoot slots get booked up about 3 months in advance, so it is advised to get in touch now to secure your slot.

Of course! I have a handful of poses and fun prompts that we will run through during our shoot but I am totally open to any suggestions, ideas, or poses you would like to do. Feel free to send me your inspo or moodboard at any time!

Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalised photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I am always open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as shooting at my home studio, rescheduling the session or finding a different indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I am flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.

I don't charge any fees for locations within 20 miles of driving from my home in Derby. If the location you're wanting is farther than that just let me know I am happy to travel!

I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. The editing process typically takes 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritise quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations. For wedding, events or full gallery upgrades editing time will vary.

YES! I am the biggest cheerleader for having your photographs treasured in physical form. Digital is great, but physical is forever. You can print your photos through your gallery once your photos have been edited. You will be able to see previews of what your prints or albums will look like prior to confirming your order. Make your moments, into art that you can hang on your wall.

Unfortunately, I do not give out unedited files as these require expensive software/subscriptions to convert them from RAW to JPEG files as well as to edit them professionally. Please only book me on the basis that you like my style of editing. Minor changes can always be made, just let me know when you receive your images.

You can purchase a digital gift card through my website, I will then post out a physical gift card to an address of your chosing. Scroll to the gift card section and follow the quick and easy steps. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and are non-refundable.
