Christmas Mini Shoots


Christmas photos can feel a bit samey year after year. Same rushed five minutes before dinner and the same forced smile for the camera.


So this year I wanted to do something different. You can choose Oakberry Farm for that classic Christmas Tree Farm outdoor winter feel or you can pick The Pigeon Loft studio if you'd rather stay cosy inside.


NEW for this year: every package includes a short highlight video, so alongside your photos you'll have the sound of your kids laughing on the day, something a photo alone could never quite capture.

FAQ

 

What happens if it rains on the day?

If the weather isn't playable at Oakberry Farm, you'll be offered either a full refund or the option to move to a studio session instead. If we start and the weather turns partway through, I'll offer you the chance to rebook, though the farm might not be available on a new date, so that could mean an alternative outdoor spot or the studio.

How many people can come?

These sessions work well for immediate family. If you're bringing a larger group, just let me know beforehand so I can make sure we've got enough time and you may need to book your shoot across 2 time slots.

Can we get more than 5 images?

Yes, you can purchase extra images individually at £15 per photo or upgrade to receive your full gallery, usually somewhere between 30 and 50 images from the day for £120.

What should we wear?

I'll send over a prep guide once you've booked, with outfit tips and everything else to help you feel ready for the day.

Can we bring our pet?

At Oakberry Farm, of course! Just let me know beforehand so I can factor them into the session, and please make sure they're comfortable around other people and dogs since the farm can get busy.

For The Pigeon Loft studio sessions, it is not possible to accommodate pets, sorry about that.

What if my child won't cooperate or gets upset during the session?

Totally normal and nothing to worry about. I'll go at their pace and find natural ways to bring out smiles and giggles. If they need a minute, that's fine too, sometimes the best photos come after a little break or during a cuddle.

Capture the Magic of Christmas


Turnaround for these sessions is quick, so you won't be left waiting around. You'll have your favourites picked within a couple of weeks, and your edited photos and video ready well before Christmas, plenty of time for cards, gifts, or just having them up in time for the big day. Spots are limited for both dates, so if you've been thinking about booking, now's a good time to grab one before they're gone.
